Explained: difference between an event and a series
This article explains the difference between a series and an event.
An event is anything you schedule to do with your crew that has a single start date. This could be a race, training day, boat work, drinks, etc. A long offshore race that takes several days to complete is an Event because it only has one start date.
A Series is a way to group individual Events. This is useful as a way to group together races that are part of a Pointscore Series or Regatta. This is useful as a way to view, edit, invite crew or cancel a group of related Events at once.
