How to cancel races and events

To cancel an event, go to the My Schedule page, find the event you want to cancel, and click ‘Manage Event.’ This brings up the event's management page that shows current event and crew details.

(You can only cancel events that you have created).

Here you have two choices - Edit Event or Edit Series. 

Clicking either of these buttons will bring you to a page that looks very similar to the page you used to create the event. 

Cancel Event

Scroll to the bottom of this page and click 'Cancel Event.' This will open a screen to enter the reason for cancelling this - you need to enter something here, and this is sent to all crew who were invited to this event to let them know it has been cancelled.

Cancel Series

Cancelling a series works in the same way as cancelling an event. If you cancel a Series it cancels all of the race or event dates in that series. (When you cancel an event, it just cancels the single date).
