How to find crew

This article describes how to find crew in MySail.

There are several ways to find new crew in MySail.

Advertise Crew Position

The easiest way to find crew is to create a 'crew wanted ad' for an upcoming race, regatta or series.

Crew wanted ads are published in the MySail Connect yacht search page and can be shared with potential crew by email and through MySail's social media accounts. This gets your crewing position in front of tons of potential crew who can then register interest in the position.

When someone registers their interest you are notified and can 'confirm' or 'decline' the position, or message the crew for more information.

Browse & Message Crew

If you don't want to publish your crew requirements, you can also browser the crew profiles in the crew search page, and message anyone who you think might be suitable.

This can be more time consuming, but enables you to select crew you think would be best suited for your program to invite them along directly. 

Explore the Event List

Many upcoming races and regattas are listed in our event search page. 

Crew who are interested to race in these events can opt-in, and you will see them listed on the event pages.

You can also 'join the list' for any of these events to show that you're looking for crew. Simply click the '+Yacht' button in the top left (under the image) and then enter your crew requirements for the event.
