How to find crewing positions

This article explains how you can find new crewing positions in MySail.

There are a few different ways to find a crewing position.

Browse Crewing Positions

Click on Browse - Yachts to view the MYSail Connect yacht search page and a list of crewing positions near you.

Yachts can post when they need crew, and any specific requirements such as experience, qualifications and positions. 

You will see a tag that shows 'Looking for Crew,' 'Crew Position Filled' or  'No Current Positions,' This tag shows who's actively looking for crew with the 'Looking for Crew' tag. You can still message yachts that aren't actively look to see if they might need crew in the future or looking to build their crew list.

Register Interest in a Crewing Positions

Click on a listing to view the yacht's details and all available crewing positions.

Clicking the 'View Details' button shows the full requirements and event dates.

If you're interested, simply click the I'm Interested button to send a message to the skipper and register your interest in this position. Once they have reviewed this you will receive an email notification that let you know if you're on the crew or not, and if so this will be added to your MySail schedule.

Email & Social Media

We often send out email notifications or post new crewing positions on Facebook, so keep an eye out on these channels for new positions. Click here to follow and like us on Facebook.

Crew Profile

Make sure you've set up a crew profile so that skippers can find and message you directly. However, we do find crew who are active are the most successful, so make sure you're also checking out the crewing positions and messaging skippers about any that look suitable.
